Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to blend technical creativity with business acumen. You will architect bespoke Proofs of Concept and drive the technical strategy for high-value enterprise accounts, working with C-level buyers and cross-functional teams.

The role focuses on delivering demonstrations, shaping solution architectures, and influencing the product roadmap while mentoring junior team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• 5+ years in Solutions Consulting/Pre-Sales/Architect roles in enterprise software sales.
• Strong fluency in enterprise app architecture, REST APIs, databases, SQL, cloud environments.
• Proven ability to deliver demonstrations, prototypes, POCs/POVs and discovery.
• Willingness to travel 30–70% as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical strategy with Account Executives to meet regional sales goals.
• Architect custom solutions, scoping and delivering high-quality POCs/POVs for enterprise customers.
• Engage executive buyers and present complex architectures to C-level audiences.
• Own technical validation for RFPs/RFIs and client proposals; handle objections.
• Influence product roadmaps by conveying real-world customer needs.
• Mentor junior Solutions Consultants and scale best practices across the team.
