Job summary

PagerDuty, Inc. is seeking a Principal Solutions Consultant to join our customer‑facing team. You will be the technical face of PagerDuty across the US, shaping the strategy with CTOs, CIOs, and VPs of Engineering at leading enterprises.

You will evangelize the PagerDuty Operations Cloud, mentor our technical sales teams, and advise C‑suite stakeholders on AIOps, SRE maturity, digital transformation, and cloud migration. This is a high‑impact, cross‑functional role.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technical leadership, solutions architecture, or product management within SaaS/DevOps/cloud space.
• Proven track record of engaging with and influencing C-level executives at Fortune 500 or equivalent global enterprises.
• Proven ability to support and influence sales cycles with a solid grasp of sales processes and customer buying journeys.
• Deep domain expertise in at least three: Incident Management, SRE, AIOps, Cloud Native Architectures, ITSM/ITIL, or Cybersecurity Incident Response.
• Exceptional public speaking and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel across the US and occasionally overseas.

Responsibilities

• Act as a peer and advisor to customer CTOs and CIOs, helping navigate digital transformations.
• Represent PagerDuty as a thought leader at industry events and through content.
• Partner with Global Product and Engineering leadership to represent US market needs in the roadmap.
• Provide architectural oversight and executive presence for complex enterprise opportunities.
• Foster a local DevOps/SRE community and share best practices on AI in operations.
• Identify market shifts and trends to inform PagerDuty's strategy.
