Job summary

Akamai Technologies in the United States is seeking a Pre-sales Senior Enterprise Security Architect to drive adoption of our security products and services. You will educate customers with direct and channel sales, conduct demos, and lead technical discussions across security solutions such as DDoS Mitigation, Security Posture Management, and DNS protection.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field.
• Experience in networking, security and pre-sales.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusting relationships with customers.
• Self-starter with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies in security pre-sales.
• Experience consulting with customers on their security strategy.

Responsibilities

• Educate customers on Akamai's infrastructure security products, including Prolexic, in coordination with direct and channel sales.
• Support the technical pre-sales process for field teams and evangelize our security solutions to customers.
• Collaborate with product management to identify evolving requirements and influence security product roadmap.
• Engage with customers on demos, deep-dive technical conversations and product trials to drive security sales.
• Stay nimble and grow with Akamai as new security products are brought to market.
