Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking a Director of the EPMO in a hybrid role in the Phoenix area. The position oversees project intake, execution, monitoring, and alignment with organizational strategies across IT and business domains.

Lead a team of project managers, develop standardized processes, and ensure staffing, budgeting, and performance align with our mission and values. Healthcare project experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or 4 years' work related experience required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5 years leading and/or developing applicable business process lifecycle management required.
• 7 years project/program management with a standardized tool-set required.
• Experience leading complex healthcare-related projects preferred.
• Agile, Lean, CI, or OD certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and standardizes project methods, procedures, and metrics for IT and business projects.
• Ensures standards are followed through completion to achieve measurable results.
• Oversees portfolio management and analyzes daily activities for success.
• Leads staff, hires, onboard, coaches, and aligns goals with mission and values.
• Leads Life Cycle Management for the EPMO and collaborates with customers.
• Partners with management to identify and select IT solutions aligning with strategy.
• Develops standardized tool sets to execute projects.
• Keeps abreast of portfolio management trends and technologies.
