Qualifications

• B.S. in related field and 5+ years' experience, or 7+ years' experience.
• IT operations/services management experience.
• Unix/Linux, and Firewall experience.
• LAN and WAN Enterprise support experience.
• Experience with Windows Server deployment in host and compute environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage staff and operations to ensure alignment.
• Oversee monitoring, status reporting and action coordination for AFCENT enterprise network.
• Guide a team of technical professionals supporting the AFCENT network.
• Manage network performance and end-to-end service quality.
• Assess overall network performance to maintain QoS.
• Participate in tool selection for network technologies and services.
• Develop SOPs for responding to outages and disruptions.
• Identify trends and remediation actions for service reliability.
• Coordinate and manage outages with stakeholders.
• Report on planned and unplanned outages and disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Provide general IT management and networking support.
• Support WAN enterprise operations and briefings.
