Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks an AFCENT NOSC Lead Engineer to provide senior technical leadership, engineering oversight, and operational support for enterprise network and server services across the AFCENT mission environment.

The role guides teams in OS, AD, messaging, DNS, storage, virtualization, and VPNs, with requirements for DoD network operations, information assurance tools, and travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations.

Qualifications

• BS with 5+ years IT experience or 7+ years preferred.
• Experience with Windows Server in host/compute environments.
• Experience with storage, DNS, DHCP, remote access, and core network solutions.
• Experience managing Microsoft users and AD DS forests.
• Knowledge of DoD network operations and information assurance tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior technical leadership and engineering oversight.
• Support and integrate OS, AD, messaging, DNS, storage, DB, and future services.
• Analyze network metrics and develop trend reports.
• Develop IT system concepts of operations and engineering plans.
• Provide O&M and general IT/networks support; travel CONUS/OCONUS.
