Ocean State Job Lot (OSJL) is seeking an IT Network Manager to own and operate our enterprise networking services across sites. You will manage WLAN/LAN, site-to-site VPN, SD-WAN, and secure connectivity, ensuring high availability for endpoints and store networks.

The role leads network design, oversees installation with vendors, maintains documentation, and mentors the Network Team. Hybrid work is possible with several days in the Corporate Office; strong collaboration with IT and stores is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field is required.
• 6+ years of experience delivering and managing enterprise network technology.
• Experience with TCP/IP, switching/routing and security appliances; advanced routing protocols.
• Wireless networks with APs and controllers; cloud managed networking (Meraki/Ruckus).
• VPN client services and site-to-site VPNs; cloud IaaS VPC configurations.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep technical expertise on WLAN/LAN, site-to-site tunneling, SD-WAN, and Internet connectivity.
• Lead the technical design of new network infrastructure and services to support business needs.
• Manage physical and virtual network infrastructure ensuring stable, high-performance connectivity.
• Maintain maintenance programs including firmware updates and HA/DR testing.
• Establish health monitoring practices to proactively minimize disruptions.
• Coordinate with third-party ISPs for site connectivity and address vendor deployments.
• Mentor the Network Team and ensure up-to-date system documentation.
• Ensure security measures to segment and restrict traffic across the network.
