Job summary

Orion is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our corporate network across on-site and hybrid locations. You will lead the network team, work with Aruba AOS-X platforms, and manage on-prem and AWS/Azure networking to ensure security and reliability.

You will mentor staff, handle firewall strategy, and oversee SD-WAN and BGP/telco resolutions, while maintaining documentation and meeting security training requirements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of direct combined network engineering and firewall experience.
• Experience with Aruba platforms and fabric management.
• Strong routing/switching knowledge (BGP/OSPF, VLANs, STP/MSTP).
• Prior information security experience and policies preferred.
• Current Aruba certification and Palo Alto certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Mentor network administrators.
• Design, manage, and maintain corporate network LAN/WAN/SD-WAN.
• Plan and execute on-prem and cloud networking (AWS/Azure).
• Monitor and troubleshoot networks and firewalls.
• Oversee BGP and Telco circuit resolution.
• Maintain DNS/DHCP/IPAM (Infoblox).
• Participate in DR testing and security training acceptance checks.
• Lead network documentation and diagrams.
