Job summary

Qnity seeks a skilled Network Engineer to join a global team managing LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN across North America. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high availability, security, and performance while bridging engineering and run-state support.

The candidate will work with North America and global teams, supporting migrations, capacity planning, and proactive monitoring. Hybrid on-site in Wilmington, DE is preferred, with East Coast options possible.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of enterprise networking experience spanning project engineering and operations.
• Strong expertise in LAN switching and routing (Cisco / Fortinet).
• Proven enterprise-scale WLAN deployment and support experience.
• Hands-on SD-WAN design and operations experience.
• Knowledge of network security fundamentals.
• Certifications: CCNP (or CCNA with strong experience); SD-WAN / wireless vendor certs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team, vendors, carriers, and cross-functional teams to deliver Network projects and support infrastructure initiatives.
• Support network upgrades and migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Own steady-state operations for LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN fabric across sites.
• Provide L2/L3 incident and problem resolution; participate in calls as required.
• Perform proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
