Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a Controls Systems Lead Engineer for enterprise accounts. You will be the primary engineering contact, ensuring standards are applied across construction events and geographies.

You will support the Sales team with customer education and review shop drawings to confirm alignment with customer expectations. You will coordinate field implementation, provide KPI reporting, and maintain design documentation and access to essential databases and software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of construction or HVAC industry.
• Knowledge of control theory, building automation systems and subsystems.
• Experience integrating low voltage building subsystems using protocols (e.g. LON, BACnet).
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Advanced computer skills including drafting tools.
• Ability to scope enterprise projects and coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for enterprise accounts for engineering support.
• Ensure enterprise engineering standards are applied across construction events and geographies.
• Support Sales with customer education on engineering standards.
• Review shop drawings for conformance with customer expectations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with enterprise account clients.

• Maintain databases, software access, and standard documentation.
• Support multiple teams to standardize practices and improve efficiency.
• Assist in site-specific training for owner/operators and ensure safety standards.
