Job summary

Johnson Controls International plc. seeks a Controls Systems Lead Engineer for Enterprise Accounts to serve as the primary engineering liaison across construction events and geographies.

You will ensure engineering standards are applied, support sales education, and oversee pre-bid activities to align customer outcomes with design milestones. In this role you will review shop drawings for conformance, coordinate with field teams, and develop KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Required Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience in construction or HVAC.
• Demonstrated knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems.
• Experience integrating low voltage subsystems using protocols such as LON and BACnet.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong computer skills, including drafting tools and graphic packages.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for engineering support across assigned accounts.
• Ensure enterprise account engineering standards are applied across construction events and geographies.
• Support Sales with customer education on engineering standards to meet outcomes.
• Represent engineering during pre-bid activities and approve shop drawings for conformance.
• Ensure design milestones are achieved for enterprise account requirements.
• Provide KPI reporting and field coordination for implementation of enterprise initiatives.
