Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled engineer to design and program hardware and software for HVAC control systems, collaborating with customers, field teams, and subcontractors to ensure project success.

The role involves commissioning, troubleshooting, and documenting system performance, with a focus on safety and quality. A strong background in mechanical/electrical controls and proficiency in Office tools are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience installing and/or commissioning controls systems, including system-level controllers.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to work with engineering standards.
• Advanced computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and program hardware designs and software for HVAC control systems under established standards.
• Provide detailed submittals and communicate design/operation to customers, field team, and subcontractors.
• Assist in loading, commissioning, and validation of system controllers and troubleshooting with subcontractors.
• Create as-built drawings and software from field changes; prepare operation manuals.
