Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an experienced professional to design, implement, and service advanced building control systems. You will develop software, create submittals, and coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and the service team to ensure optimal operation of building automation assets.

Responsibilities include commissioning, validation of system functionality, and training owner/operators on the total building control system.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years' engineering experience.
• Knowledge of construction or HVAC industry.
• Understanding of control theory and building automation systems.
• Experience integrating low-voltage subsystems (LON, BACnet).

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and service complex building control systems.
• Develop and test software for system operation.
• Prepare drawings, BOMs, schedules, and electrical schematics.
• Coordinate submittals and installation drawings.
• Support commissioning and field changes and issue resolutions.
• Mentor junior technicians and guide team as needed.
