Job summary

AHEAD, a leading cloud and data center solutions provider in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Senior Client Solutions Engineer to own technical pre-sales activities, architect solutions, and drive intelligence across accounts. You will present to clients, partner with directors, and shape enterprise cloud strategies while mentoring teams.

The role requires deep data center expertise, strong communication, and the ability to influence decisions.

Qualifications

4+ years pre-sales and data center experience.
Professional communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading technical pre-sales campaigns.
Extensive knowledge of data center storage, networking, compute, virtualization, management/automation, and security.
Ability to influence others under pressure and achieve results.
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
Independent, self-motivated, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

Present at technical briefings and lab demonstrations for clients and partners.
Own technical aspects of sales campaigns and coordinate with consulting/services teams.
Design, architect, and consult on Enterprise Cloud Framework solutions.
Identify technologies and vendors to partner within accounts.
Lead solution verification and BOM review for geography.
Mentor and coach team resources to enhance solution knowledge and pre-sales skills.
Build relationships and drive services sales across accounts.
