Job summary

AHEAD is seeking a Senior Client Solutions Engineer to own the technical elements of sales campaigns, craft architectures, and guide clients through AHEAD’s Enterprise Cloud Framework. You will lead technical briefs, demonstrations, and strategy discussions, while mentoring others and expanding credibility across multiple cloud/security domains.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in pre-sales with data center expertise, strong presentation skills, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
4+ years pre-sales and data center experience required.
Strong communication, presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience leading technical pre-sales campaigns.
Extensive knowledge of data center solutions: storage, networking, compute, virtualization, automation, and security.

Responsibilities

Own all technical aspects of a sales campaign and hand off to consulting/services.
Maintain strong client relationships throughout the sales cycle.
Design, architect, and consult on AHEAD solutions for clients.
Lead technical briefings and lab demonstrations with clients and partners.
Collaborate with Practice Directors to shape new solutions and offerings.
Present at events, user groups, conferences, and forums.
