Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a senior Enterprise Architect to lead strategic engagements with utility customers, translating business goals into architecture direction and roadmaps. You will work across Sales, Presales, Product Management, Engineering, and Services to shape data fabric and enterprise data solutions for GridOS Data Fabric.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of architecture, consulting, solution strategy, or digital transformation roles.
• Requirement Translation: document requirements via BRDs, SADs or SOWs.
• Data Fabric & Mesh Architecture: design distributed data architecture with metadata, lineage, semantics, and domain federation.
• Integration Proficiency: API-first design and event-driven architectures for grid data streaming.
• Logical Data Modeling & Domain Modeling: translate grid entities into domain-driven structures.
• Cloud & Deployment Architecture: cloud platforms and Kubernetes; hybrid deployment patterns.
• SQL & Dynamic SQL proficiency.
• BDAT EA knowledge with TOGAF or equivalent.
• Familiarity with utility platforms like ADMS/AEMS/EMS/DERMS.
• Strong communication and presentation skills connecting business outcomes to tech strategy.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic consulting engagements with utility customers and translate business goals into architecture direction and roadmaps.
• Facilitate workshops and advisory sessions with executive and operational stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality customer-facing deliverables—roadmaps, BRDs, and architecture recommendations.
• Shape enterprise opportunities by aligning customer needs with feasible solution approaches with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to enterprise deal negotiation and implementation planning with data architecture expertise.
• Engage SMEs across cybersecurity, cloud, data, and solution domains to inform recommendations.
• Develop reusable consulting methods, assets, and playbooks for consistency.
• Provide feedback to Product Management and Engineering based on customer engagements.
