Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking an experienced technology leader to design GridOS DERMS solutions and drive enterprise architecture for utility customers.

The role demands translating regulatory needs into technical requirements and overseeing full-stack development, integration, and testing across projects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software delivery within power/utility sectors, strong cloud experience (AWS/Azure), and a track record of delivering complex energy software implementations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering software in power/utility sector.
• Bachelor's in engineering with focus on power systems.
• 5+ years full-stack development and backend integrations.
• Led at least 3 full-cycle enterprise software implementations for utilities.
• 3+ years working with power system analysis tools (OpenDSS/CYME/Synergi) or OT platforms.
• 2+ years deploying apps in AWS or Azure cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Ownership: Lead end-to-end design of GridOS DERMS solutions.
• Technical Strategy: Oversee APIs, microservices, and integrations.
• Client Advisory: Translate business goals into technical requirements.
• Grid Modeling: Validate CIM models and powerflow analyses for DER planning.
• Integration Leadership: Drive full-stack development lifecycle and site acceptance testing.
• Project Stewardship: Identify risks and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Knowledge Transfer: Develop training and workshops for utility end-users.
• Sales Enablement: Support presales and technical demonstrations for upsell.
• Practice Development: Establish delivery standards and innovate consulting methodologies.
