Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Staff Data Fabric Architect to lead design and implementation of advanced data fabric solutions focused on customer experiences. You will shape scalable data architectures with emphasis on security, performance, and governance for customer-facing apps and analytics.

You will partner with product management, leads, and stakeholders to translate data requirements into robust, scalable solutions, while guiding teams and ensuring governance and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with minimum years of related experience as specified.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Data Architecture.
• Military experience considered equivalent to professional experience.
• Experience designing data fabric solutions with data virtualization, cataloging, and metadata management tools.

Responsibilities

• Define the data fabric architecture strategy and roadmap for customer initiatives across CSCX.
• Collaborate with product management and stakeholders to translate data requirements into scalable solutions.
• Develop and enforce data architecture standards and governance across customer data assets.
• Lead integration of diverse data sources into a unified data fabric for applications and analytics.
• Provide mentorship to engineers and architects on data fabric principles and patterns.
• Identify and mitigate data-related risks including security, privacy, and compliance.
• Stay informed on industry trends and best practices in data fabric and governance.
• Document architectures and processes for knowledge sharing.
