Job summary

Vatica Health, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Architect to define and guide technology architecture across Vatica + Cozeva, translating business priorities into standards, designs, and roadmaps that support secure, reliable, and cost-effective operations.

This hands-on architecture leadership role requires technical depth, independent judgment, and the ability to influence execution across teams. You will advise on technology investments, guide modernization, and partner with Engineering,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, cybersecurity, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive technology experience, including 7+ years in architecture leadership.
• Experience designing Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments with migrations, identity, networking, availability, DR, and cost optimization.
• Ability to incorporate security controls into architecture, including Zero Trust, MFA, and privileged access management.
• Experience establishing architecture governance and reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns using Terraform, Bicep, or CloudFormation.
• Ability to evaluate AI architectures, integration patterns, data protection needs, and operational risks.
• Proven ability to explain technical and financial tradeoffs, influence decisions across teams, and maintain accountability through implementation.

Responsibilities

• Define current and target architectures and modernization roadmaps aligned with business priorities.
• Lead architecture reviews and maintain standards with documented exceptions and accountable owners.
• Design Azure, AWS, and hybrid architectures including landing zones, migrations, and cloud cost optimization.
• Define infrastructure and network designs across virtualization, storage, containers, WAN, LAN, and cloud connectivity.
• Partner with Security to incorporate Zero Trust and encryption into designs and ensure HIPAA/HITRUST/SOC 2 alignment.
• Shape the AI adoption roadmap and evaluate use cases, platforms, models, and integrations.
• Present recommendations and tradeoffs to executives and mentor technical teams.
