Job summary

VLink Inc. seeks an experienced enterprise application support engineer to join a fast-paced operations team. The role focuses on supporting or developing large-scale enterprise apps, with hands-on MOVEit/SFTP expertise and strong L2/L3 troubleshooting capabilities.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with ITSM/ServiceNow, SDLC, and production support processes, and able to work across monolithic, distributed, and microservices architectures while coordinating with stakeholders and partners.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting or developing enterprise applications.
• Hands-on experience with MOVEit or equivalent SFTP/file-transfer platforms, including configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and automated file transfers.
• Strong L2/L3 troubleshooting and RCA skills across applications, networks, file transfers, and technical environments.
• Experience with application monitoring, alert management, incident management, and production support.
• Strong knowledge of ITSM/ServiceNow, SDLC, IT operations, and enterprise application support processes.
• Experience supporting monolithic, distributed, and microservices-based applications, with solid Object-Oriented Design and Development knowledge.
• Familiarity with AWS, Amazon EKS, and Lambda expressions.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to work with end users, business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to urgent production issues, and provide 24x7 on-call support as scheduled.
• Strong documentation, problem-solving, accountability, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies in evolving environments.
