Job summary

VLink Inc. is seeking a Backend Engineer to design and build scalable Java-based back-end platforms powering financial services. You will craft multi-layered systems with Spring Boot and PL/SQL, deliver RESTful APIs, and optimize Oracle/DB2 databases.

Expect to drive CI/CD with Jenkins, Git, and uDeploy, collaborate with DevOps on monitoring and release pipelines, and lead code reviews to ensure high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 6-9 years of backend programming experience with Java, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Deep expertise in API design, microservices architecture, and database engineering.
• Strong command of Oracle or DB2, PL/SQL, and transactional SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Git branching strategies, Jenkins, Sonar, and deployment automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like HP Operations Orchestration, ServiceNow, and HP Service Manager.
• Agile mindset with a focus on quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop multi-layered backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and PL/SQL.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Optimize database schemas, stored procedures, and transactional SQL (Oracle/DB2).
