Job summary

VLink Inc is seeking a Senior NetApp Storage Engineer to manage a large-scale storage environment across RTP, NC and CA. You will handle ONTAP, FAS/AFF/C Series, NAS/SAN, and large-scale migrations in a hybrid setup with VMware, FSxN, and OpenNebula integrations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience administering and engineering NetApp ONTAP enterprise storage environments.
• Experience with NetApp FAS, AFF, and/or C Series platforms.
• Experience with ONTAP 9.x, preferably 9.15.1 or later.
• Experience with enterprise NAS and SAN storage technologies and protocols.
• Experience with storage configuration, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating NetApp with large-scale compute, networking, virtualization, and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting VMware/vSphere environments and storage integrations.
• Experience with NetApp SnapCenter backup and recovery technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex storage, networking, compute, and virtualization issues.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a key member of the storage pipeline/engineering team implementing infrastructure changes across NetApp.
• Perform NetApp technology refreshes, ONTAP upgrades, configuration changes, and new feature implementations.
• Support MFA and MAV security capabilities.
• Administer and support ~80 on-prem NetApp ONTAP nodes.
• Support ONTAP 9.15.1+ environments ensuring availability and performance.
• Expand FSxN footprint for NetApp.
• Develop storage automation using Ansible and related technologies.
• Support NetApp Data Infrastructure Insights (DII) and AIQUM.
• Handle ad hoc storage requests and complex troubleshooting.
• Support data center/storage migrations and large-scale infra projects.
