Soap Creek Resources seeks an experienced Software & Applications Manager to lead enterprise applications in a manufacturing environment. You will manage developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver solutions that improve efficiency and user experience.

The role blends software development expertise, ERP application management, and business acumen, collaborating with IT, OT, and data science teams to align capabilities with priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7–15 years of experience in software development, enterprise applications, or application management.
• Minimum 3 years of IT or software development management experience leading teams of five or more.
• Experience with .NET, JavaScript, or comparable languages.
• Experience managing ERP applications, preferably JD Edwards.
• Experience leading software development using Agile methods (Scrum/Kanban).
• Experience implementing secure software development practices.
• Experience collaborating with data science teams on analytics, automation, and related initiatives.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver business-value solutions.

Responsabilités

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, analysts, product owners, and architects.
• Oversee development, integration, and support of enterprise applications including JD Edwards and ERP systems.
• Set objectives, performance expectations, and development plans; manage budgets and resources.
• Promote a collaborative, customer-focused culture with accountability and continuous improvement.
• Oversee architecture, modernization, and system integration; select technologies.
• Collaborate with data science on analytics, automation, and operational initiatives.
• Manage Agile project delivery, schedules, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
• Advance CI/CD, automated testing, and DevOps practices; coordinate with vendors.
