Job summary

Markent Personnel seeks an experienced Software & Applications Manager to lead development, integration, optimization, and ongoing support of enterprise business applications in a manufacturing setting. You will manage a team of developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver solutions that boost efficiency and user satisfaction.

This role requires strong software development, ERP management (JD Edwards a plus), leadership, and business acumen.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
7–15 years in software development, enterprise applications, or application management.
Minimum 3+ years IT/software development management leading teams of five or more.
Experience with .NET, JavaScript, and ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred).

Responsibilities

Lead a team of software developers, business systems analysts, product owners, and technical architects.
Oversee development, integration, and support of enterprise software and ERP systems.
Develop roadmaps and prioritize enhancements based on business value and operations needs.
Guide software architecture, modernization, and system integration.
Collaborate with data science teams on analytics, automation, and data accessibility.
Manage Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban) and project schedules, budgets, and risks.
Coordinate external vendors to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
Establish KPIs/OKRs and dashboards to track performance and value.
