Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. seeks an experienced Software & Applications Manager to lead the development, integration, and support of enterprise business applications in a manufacturing setting.

You will manage a team of software developers, analysts, and product owners to deliver technology solutions that boost efficiency and user experience. You will partner with IT, OT, business stakeholders, and data science teams to align applications with priorities and continuous improvement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/CS/Software Engineering.
7–15 years of experience in software development, enterprise applications, or application management.
Minimum 3 years of IT or software development management experience leading teams of five or more.
Experience with .NET, JavaScript, or comparable languages.
Experience managing ERP applications, preferably JD Edwards.
Experience leading software development using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Experience implementing secure software development practices.
Collaboration with data science teams on analytics and automation.
Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver business value.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software developers, business systems analysts, product owners, and architects.
Oversee development, integration, and support of enterprise business applications including JD Edwards ERP.
Set objectives, performance expectations, and professional development plans for the team.
Manage departmental budgets, external resources, and technology investments.
Promote collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
Oversee architecture, modernization, and system integration of enterprise applications.
Guide Agile project delivery, including Scrum and Kanban, and CI/CD practices.
Coordinate with OT, IT, and business stakeholders to align technology with objectives.
Develop dashboards and KPI reporting to track performance and value.
