Job summary

Centene Corporation in the United States is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions across the data pipeline.

You will create and optimize T-SQL procedures, maintain the in-house letter application with C# and Word, and develop SSIS packages for ETL and document conversion workflows; also schedule jobs with ActiveBatch and provide production support. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 4–6 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, queries).
• Experience with ETL and data integration workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise software solutions across the data enterprise.
• Create and optimize T-SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and tables.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application using C#; generate Word and convert to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data and performance issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation (designs, data flows, procedures).
• Contribute to EDW feeds, EDI X12 processes, and report development.
