Job summary

Centene Corporation in New York is seeking an experienced enterprise software engineer to design, develop, and implement complex data-driven solutions. You will build and optimize SQL Server objects to stage and transform healthcare data and support an in-house letter generation system using C# and Word/PDF tooling.

You will also develop SSIS packages, schedule workflows with ActiveBatch, and provide production support with strong problem analysis.

Qualifications

• Requires 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• 3+ years of C# development required.
• 3+ years of SSIS development required.
• Experience with EDI preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions across the organization.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects for data staging and transformation.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application that generates Word documents and converts to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data and performance issues.
• Create technical documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
