Centene Corporation is seeking an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and implement enterprise solutions. The role emphasizes SQL Server development (T-SQL), SSIS ETL work, and maintaining an in-house letter generation system that outputs Word and PDF.

You'll collaborate with data modelers, architects, analysts, and SMEs to deliver robust data workflows and EDW feeds, while ensuring production support, testing, and detailed technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field
• 4–6 years related experience

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server (T-SQL) procedures, functions, views, and tables for staging and transforming data.
• Own and enhance the in-house letter application that stages data and generates Word/PDF documents.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; document designs and procedures.
• Contribute to data mart development, EDW feeds, and report development.
• Comply with policies and standards.
