Job summary

Centene Corp. is seeking a skilled software professional to design, develop, and support enterprise data solutions across healthcare domains.

You will work with data modelers, architects, and SMEs to deliver end-to-end data processing, reporting, and letter generation workflows. The role focuses on T-SQL, C#, SSIS, and ETL, with opportunities to contribute to EDW, EDI processes, and analytics in a collaborative enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 4-6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, index creation, performance tuning).
• Requires 3+ years of C# development.
• Requires 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare/Managed Care Data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects for data staging and transformation of claim/authorization/member/provider data.
• Own, maintain, and enhance the in-house letter application that stages data, produces Word documents, and converts to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL, file processing, and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs using ActiveBatch; perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including designs, data flows, and support procedures.
• Contribute to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, EDW feeds, and report development.
