Job summary

Centene Corporation in the United States seeks an experienced software engineer to design, develop, and implement complex enterprise solutions. You will work with data modelers, architects, analysts, and SMEs to deliver data-driven letter generation and reporting.

The role focuses on SQL Server development (T-SQL), C#, SSIS, and ETL workflows, with opportunities to contribute to EDW feeds and HIPAA-compliant processes. Remote/hybrid/field or office work options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative or business field and 4–6 years of related experience.
• 4–6 years of Microsoft SQL Server development (T-SQL, stored procedures, optimization).
• 3+ years of C# development.
• 3+ years of SSIS development.
• Experience with EDI and Healthcare data preferred.
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise software solutions.
• Create, optimize, and re-engineer SQL Server objects for data staging and transformations.
• Own and enhance in-house letter application using C# and Word to PDF.
• Develop and support SSIS packages for ETL and document conversion workflows.
• Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot jobs with ActiveBatch.
• Perform data analysis, testing, and production support; resolve data issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Communicate issues to stakeholders and design solutions.
• Contribute to data mart development, EDI X12 processes, EDW feeds, and report development.
• Other duties as assigned; comply with policies.
