Job summary

Credit Acceptance Corporation is seeking a Distinguished Software Engineer in Bellevue Hybrid, WA. The role focuses on defining enterprise architectures across originations, servicing, data, and AI, while leading agent-based systems and a migration from on‑premises to AWS and Databricks.

You will drive real-time decisioning, model serving, and experimentation, with hands-on coding and executive communication to align stakeholders and engineers toward modernization and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 10 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience.
• Experience delivering multi-year technical strategy at enterprise scale.
• Depth in distributed systems architecture and production agentic/LLM-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Define the enterprise target architecture across originations, servicing, marketplace, data, and AI with a multi-year plan.
• Own the enterprise agent architecture spanning servicing, collections, and workflows.
• Migrate off on-premises infrastructure to AWS for transactional workloads and Databricks for analytical workloads.
• Set architecture for real-time decisioning, model serving, and experimentation at scale.
• Own the instrumentation, baseline, and remediation architecture to meet latency and reliability targets.
