Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or closely related field; or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 8 years of software engineering experience or comparable depth of experience.
• Experience driving technically sound data solutions that support business goals.
• Strong technical background in BI platforms and Data Warehouses.
• Ability to evaluate vendors' capabilities to meet business objectives.
• Vision and roadmapping for technology direction, with customer focus.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure feasibility and best practices.
• Liaise to ensure technical aspects align with modern standards and practices.
• Lead customer delivery engagements or large-scale solutions.
• Adopt agile development methodologies and translate between tech and business stakeholders.
• Relocation willingness to hub locations: Southfield MI, Bellevue WA, or SF Bay Area CA.

Responsibilities

• Champion features and strategies scalable across domains with high business impact.
• Define and document happy path diagrams for specific personas and scenarios.
• Collaborate with business partners, Product Managers and designers to define product requirements.
• Drive technical innovation and improvements of the design and architecture of software systems.
• Become an expert in all domains to better support the business and align technologies strategies with outcomes.
• Work with the engineering leadership team to develop and execute on the company's technical and business strategy.
• Incorporating and leading with AI strategies and cutting edge best practices.
• Perform technical due diligence and architectural assessments of third-party technologies and solutions.
• Experiment and test ideas, validate assumptions against needs, reach conclusions and recommend solutions.
• Document standards, best practices, and engineering artifacts for maintainability.
• Lead continuous learning and process improvement activities to improve design and engineering practices.
• Grow talent by participating in hiring and mentoring team members.
