Job summary

Verizon seeks a Senior Agentic AI Engineer to drive autonomous enterprise agents that reason, plan, and act, leading multi-agent systems and LLM orchestration. You will deploy scalable pipelines in cloud environments and integrate AI into business processes to enable measurable outcomes.

The role requires strong data science and ML foundations, experience with orchestration frameworks, model lifecycle, and collaboration with executives to deliver strategic impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of work experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or training.
• 4+ years in Generative AI, LLMs, and autonomous agent systems.
• 4+ years developing analytics or AI solutions for complex problems.
• Hands-on with multi-agent orchestration frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, LlamaIndex, AutoGen.
• Experience designing A2A protocols, task delegation hierarchies, and MCP for enterprise integration.
• Experience with agent memory and state management in context-rich workflows.
• Knowledge of RAG, ONNX embeddings, and vector DBs & semantic search.
• Cloud-scale data engineering: BigQuery, GCP/Vertex AI, Bedrock or equivalents.
• Python and SQL for modeling, prompt engineering, and data extraction.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable multi-agent AI systems and workflows.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise systems via APIs and MCP.
• Build enterprise Agent Factory pipelines for autonomous execution.
• Design RAG systems with embeddings and vector databases for scalable outputs.
• Manage agent memory and state across short/medium/long term contexts.
• Own full agent and model lifecycle: training, deployment, monitoring.
• Set security guardrails and safe identities for production agents.
• Develop propensity models, classification, and forecasting for decisions.
• Translate AI outputs into actionable strategy for leadership and partners.
• Perform AI-augmented analytics and model validation for performance.
