Job summary

Verizon in Boston seeks a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design of enterprise-grade agentic AI systems that reason, plan, and act across business domains. You will integrate LLMs with enterprise tools, build scalable pipelines, and work with security, governance, and leadership to translate AI outputs into actionable strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Four or more years of relevant experience with Generative AI, LLMs and autonomous agent systems.
• Hands-on proficiency with multi-agent orchestration frameworks: LangChain, LangGraph, Google ADK, LlamaIndex, AutoGen.
• Experience with agent memory and state management in production environments.
• Strong cloud experience (GCP, Vertex AI) and data engineering basics.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable multi-agent AI systems with agent workflows and A2A communication.
• Integrate LLMs with enterprise tools via APIs and MCP for autonomous agents.
• Build enterprise pipelines for autonomous, continuous execution.
• Design RAG systems with embeddings and vector databases for context-aware outputs.
• Manage agent memory and lifecycle, including training and deployment.
• Establish security guardrails and safety constraints for production agents.
• Develop propensity models and forecasting to inform agent decisions.
• Translate AI outputs into actionable business strategies for leadership.
