Verizon Corporate Security is seeking a highly autonomous Principal Automation Engineer to build AI and agentic workflows. You will own the AI toolchain, design production-grade agents, and integrate data across complex systems to deliver measurable business value.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, with weekly shipping and stakeholder demonstrations, in a hybrid work setting. A strong background in SQL, cloud (GCP), and Looker is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant experience required.
• 5+ years of experience building and shipping production software end‑to‑end.
• Experience shipping Large Language Model (LLM) applications to end users.
• Strong SQL skills and cloud experience (GCP) and Looker.

Responsibilities

• Build applications from specifications as a hands‑on contributor.
• Own internal tooling for the spec‑to‑build loop and telemetry.
• Design, build, and deploy agents on Kairos platform for speed and value.
• Integrate data from SQL Server, BigQuery/EDW, and vendor APIs with governance.
• Create evaluation harnesses with shadow tests and precision/recall metrics.
• Ship features weekly to staging and demonstrate to stakeholders.
