Job summary

Pure Storage, Inc. is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead a focused portfolio of enterprise banking and insurance accounts across Germany.

You will own multi-year plans, drive the full sales cycle, and partner with channel managers and solution experts to win new logos in whitespace while expanding existing relationships. You will speak fluently in German and English, align business outcomes with ROI, and navigate regulatory requirements such as DORA and BaFin.

Qualifications

• Exceed quota selling to large enterprise accounts in software/SaaS/cybersecurity/infrastructure.
• Translate customer problems into business outcomes and ROI-focused talks.
• Experience selling into banks or insurers in Germany; understand regulatory landscape (DORA, BaFin, NIS2).
• Strong account planning, prospecting and stakeholder management from IT leaders to board.
• Co-selling with channel partners in direct and indirect sales models.
• Interest in data, cloud and AI; storage background not required but curiosity to learn.
• Owner’s mindset: coachable, seek feedback, and get things done.
• Fluency in German and English; willingness to travel across Germany.

Responsibilities

• Own a focused portfolio of enterprise banking and insurance accounts with multi-year plans.
• Grow existing customers by uncovering new projects and win whitespace logos.
• Lead full sales cycle with SEs, partners, and specialists.
• Build relationships up to C-suite focusing on outcomes, ROI, risk and compliance.
• Develop deep FS knowledge to speak their language and regulatory concerns.
• Navigate complex procurement, risk, and outsourcing processes in regulated institutions.
• Collaborate with channel partners and system integrators to expand reach.
• Build a strong pipeline and consistently exceed targets.
