Job summary

HNTB Corporation in Oklahoma City is seeking a Sr Project Manager – Engineering to lead multi-discipline project teams through full lifecycle, developing scope, proposals, contracts, and delivery plans. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and client communications to achieve HNTB’s 4 for 4 performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering with 12 years of experience; 4 years leading engineering projects; and ideally a Master's and professional certifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 12 years of relevant experience.
• 4 years of successful management of engineering projects.
• Master's degree in Engineering preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred.
• American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) certification preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotation.
• Serve as primary client liaison and manage the project team.
• Lead client contract scoping and negotiations.
• Perform technical discipline tasks including analysis, reports, design, specification and production.
• Implement SDA delivery on each project.
• Lead the development and execution of the project management plan.
• Mentor team to achieve project objectives.
• Recruit and develop project staff and support performance reviews.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing for proposals and presentations.
• Present proposals and interviews to clients.
