Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to provide CAPEX oversight for 1NA Beverage sites, focusing on capacity, new capability, process and packaging innovations, and value engineering. The role partners with Operations, Finance, R&D and external engineers to manage scope, budget and schedule.

You will travel up to 30–50% and lead multi-plant initiatives, ensuring standardization and strategic execution across locations. Requires a BS in engineering and 7–9 years’ experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Food Processing, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7-9 years of project engineering experience with focus on new equipment, line installation, start-up, high-speed packaging.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing plant operations.
• Willingness to travel up to 30-50% of time.
• CAPEX project expenditure experience preferred at 1-3MM USD.

Responsibilities

• Direct experience with leading, developing and mentoring people, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Experience with plant operations, packaging, utilities, TPM and LSS processes.
• Manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
• Track spending and report financials; basic cost accounting.
• Communicate project scope and deliverables across cross-functional teams.
• Lead cross-plant initiatives and set standards for project execution.
• Utilize SAP myBuy, Excel, PowerPoint, CAD, MS Project for tracking.
• Negotiate with vendors, contractors, and consultants.
• Ensure downtime systems and startup curves are understood.
