Job summary

PepsiCo in Denver, CO is seeking an Engineering Project Management Principal Engineer to provide capital project management for PBUS manufacturing locations, focusing on capacity, new capability, and packaging innovations.

You will lead multi-functional teams, manage scope, budget, and schedule, mentor staff, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, quality, finance, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Food Processing, Civil or Electrical).
• 7-9 years of project engineering experience with a focus on engineering project management.
• CAPEX project expenditure experience of $1-3MM.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing plant operations.
• Travel up to 30-50% to support multiple plant projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive standardization and PBUS strategic initiatives; own project scope, budget, and schedule.
• Lead, develop, and mentor teams; manage cross-functional and external partners.
• Provide technical guidance during project scoping and execution to meet objectives and PepsiCo standards.
• Understand plant downtime systems and track startup curves.
• Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve operational issues.
