Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a technically proficient leader to guide engineering projects and support the Project Manager in cost, schedule, and client satisfaction. This role requires coordinating with clients and PM team on execution issues and driving timely, high-quality multi-discipline deliverables.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor or MS in Engineering, PE and/or PMP preferred, and 5+ years of engineering and project management experience, with strong communication

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Engineering is required.
• Registration as Professional Engineer and/or PMP is highly preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.

Responsibilities

• Inform the Project Manager of all technical issues, decisions, and problems.
• Coordinate with Client on technical design issues and with PM team on execution issues.
• Support PM in managing budgets and schedule and in documenting scope changes; report engineering status.
• Manage discipline hours and TIC estimate quantities; track scope changes as project progresses.
• Develop or facilitate project-specific engineering and design procedures with approvals as needed.
• Coordinate engineering input for scope-defining documents (Scope & Criteria, Engineering Execution Plans).
• Ensure timely completion of multi-discipline deliverables and lead inter-discipline coordination.
• Review 3D models for cross-discipline coordination, clash detection, and deliverable adequacy.
• Ensure overall quality control of engineering work.
