Crusoe is building AI infrastructure at scale. We’re seeking an Engineering Operations leader who can own the standing programs (SLOs, incident follow-ups, change safety, capacity tracking) and partner with leaders across engineering, SRE, data, and product to keep commitments.

You’ll start solo, then grow the function, shaping metrics, cadence, and ownership. A background in software engineering, SRE, TPM, or infra product helps you translate data into actionable decisions and drive impact with

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, SRE, technical program management, or a technical product role.
• Experience leading org-wide programs at staff level or above.
• Comfortable starting as a team of one.
• Experience in high-growth infrastructure environments.
• Ability to turn multi-source data into a clear picture of organizational health.
• Designed operating rhythms used by leaders.
• Scrappy, low-ego, high-drive.
• Background in AI/ML infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Own the standing Engineering Operations programs: SLO/SLI, incident management, change safety, capacity tracking, and operational data.
• Define and track metrics showing how the org runs, grows, builds, and enables itself.
• Partner with engineering, SRE, data engineering, and product to keep data accurate.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure operations run smoothly.
• Work toward a single pane of glass showing organizational health at a glance.
• Own the weekly executive Engineering Operations review and related forums.
• Make ownership explicit and drive timely closure of actions.
