Job summary

Cribl is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a remote-first team of SDETs responsible for the quality and reliability of all Cribl products. This hands-on leadership role drives testing strategy from design to release with agentic workflows, delivering high-quality software for a fast-growing telemetry platform.

The role requires 10+ years in the industry and 4+ years in technical leadership, plus a BS CS/EE or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience establishing testing strategy and metrics for SaaS products.
• Strong SDLC understanding and agentic development implications.
• Expertise in test architecture, automation, CI/CD, and release management.
• Experience with AI-developed tests and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the quality strategy across Cribl products and communicate metrics for data-driven prioritization.
• Lead ongoing improvements in test automation, CI stability, defect prevention, and root-cause analysis.
• Optimize end-to-end pipelines for quality and velocity, removing bottlenecks for people and workflows.
• Foster a customer-first mindset by analyzing failures to close testing gaps.
• Partner with product and engineering managers to embed quality from the start.
• Coach and grow a remote-first team of test engineers.
