Expect to drive architecture decisions, manage on-call and incident response, and deliver reliable deployment pipelines. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align platform strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• When leading a Foundations team, you will own platform and infrastructure decisions.
• You have deep fluency in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD and observability.
• You bring strong software engineering background across Go, Python, TypeScript or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the team from 7 to 12+ while maintaining high technical and cultural hiring standards.
• Establish clear leveling paths, growth plans, and address underperformance promptly.
• Foster a high-trust, high-standards culture with active participation in daily operations.
• Drive quarterly goals, set milestones, and ensure predictable delivery timelines.
• Shape technical strategy and architecture with a focus on resiliency and scalability.
• Maintain on-call discipline and incident response, overseeing deployment and release management.
