Salesforce is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Foundations team in Seattle, owning the infrastructure and platform that all product teams rely on. You’ll grow the team from 7 to 12 engineers and raise the bar on reliability, delivery, and technical direction.

Bring deep platform fluency with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, IaC, and CI/CD, plus strong people leadership. You’ll shape architecture, incident response, and deployment practices at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience leading platform, infrastructure, or foundational engineering teams in high-growth environments.
• Deep technical fluency across cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), Kubernetes, infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and observability.
• Strong software engineering background with proficiency in Go, Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Foundations team from 7 to 12 engineers, maintaining high technical and cultural hiring standards.
• Build a high-trust culture with emphasis on reliability, urgency, and attention to detail.
• Drive delivery with quarterly goals and clear milestones; ensure predictable deployment timelines.
• Set technical strategy and architecture for platform/infrastructure initiatives.
• Own reliability and on-call/incident response discipline.
