Qualifications

• Experience leading platform or foundational engineering teams in high-growth settings.
• Deep fluency in cloud infra, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and observability.
• Strong software background with Go, Python, TypeScript, or Ruby.
• Experience operating PostgreSQL or other RDBMS at scale.
• Proven track record of on-call programs and deployment ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Foundations team from 7 to 12+ engineers and beyond.
• Establish high technical and cultural hiring standards and growth plans.
• Set clear quarterly goals and ensure predictable delivery timelines.
• Define architectural direction for platform and infra initiatives.
• Maintain strong on-call discipline and production reliability.
