Job summary

Circle, a leading internet financial platform, seeks a Senior Engineering Manager for the Risk and Compliance Engineering team to lead and scale its onboarding and lifecycle platform across jurisdictions. You will drive architectural decisions and mentor senior engineers while partnering with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Fraud teams to ensure secure customer experiences.

Qualifications

10+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Demonstrated ability to guide and mentor senior staff engineers while driving architectural decisions.
Experience delivering secure, reliable systems with strong engineering and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Lead and scale Circle's centralized onboarding and lifecycle management platform for risk/compliance.
Deliver scalable onboarding automation from initial engagement to activation across Circle products.
Develop a unified customer lifecycle platform managing changes in relationships and onboarding needs over time.
Build partner-facing APIs and embeddable SDKs for seamless onboarding in third-party apps.
Develop internal tools with Product, Risk, Compliance, Fraud, and Engineering to support reviews and lifecycle changes.
Drive architectural decisions, reliability, security, and operational excellence while coaching engineers.
