Job summary

Blattner is seeking a Manager II - Engineering – Major Projects Group in Minnesota to lead high‑voltage project engineering teams and deliver safe, economical designs for utility‑scale power plants. You will coach staff, set KPI targets, and collaborate across estimating, supply chain, and construction.

You will guide engineers on large energy park projects, recruit talent, and ensure designs comply with safety standards, codes, and company practices while driving efficiency and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in electrical engineering from ABET-accredited college.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with 3+ years in leadership in energy/construction (high voltage, utilities, power generation).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Up to 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high-voltage project engineering teams through coaching and mentoring.
• Develop and implement safe utility-scale engineering designs.
• Create metrics and objectives for engineering obligations from project award through completion.
• Coordinate with estimating, supply chain, and construction to align designs with costs and schedules.
• Recruit, interview, and hire Electrical Engineering talent.
• Provide guidance to Engineers on large, complex energy park projects.
