Job summary

Blattner Company is seeking a Manager II - Engineering for the Major Projects Group to lead high‑voltage project engineering teams and mentor junior staff. You will oversee safe utility-scale designs and ensure compliance with codes while driving efficiency and cost savings across projects.

You will coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize engineering deliverables. A PE license and 10+ years in energy or construction engineering are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive engineering experience with 3+ years of leadership in energy/construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach high-voltage project engineering teams.
• Develop and implement safe utility-scale designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Define and track KRAs, KPIs, and training priorities.
• Support estimating on designs and material takeoffs.
