Job summary

Blattner in Minnesota seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to deliver safe, reliable electrical solutions for utility-scale renewable energy projects. You may support preconstruction/estimating or project execution phases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to move designs from concept through construction.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification required, or ability to obtain within one year of hire.
• Four or more years of progressive electrical engineering experience on utility-scale power projects.
• Experience managing multiple engineering priorities across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for utility-scale renewables projects.
• Review electrical packages and ensure quality and compliance.
• Support utility interconnections and coordinate with Owners and Engineers of Record (EOR).
• Evaluate constructability and perform risk assessments across multiple concurrent projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Estimating, IPC, Construction, and Project Management teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and CAD designers.
