Blattner is seeking a Manager II - Engineering, Major Projects Group, to lead and mentor senior and junior engineers. The role focuses on safe utility-scale designs, compliance with NEC/IEEE standards, and cross-functional collaboration across departments and vendors.

The candidate will drive process improvements, develop metrics, and guide engineering teams from project-award through completion while ensuring cost efficiency and safety standards are met.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is strongly preferred.
• 10 or more years of progressive engineering experience and three or more years of leadership experience in related energy or construction industries (high voltage, utilities, power generation).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR.
• Up to 25% travel required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage high-voltage project engineering teams through coaching, training, and mentoring staff.
• Develop and manage safe utility-scale engineering designs compliant with codes and regulations.
• Collaborate across departments, vendors, and external firms to promote safety, lower costs, and increase efficiency.
• Coordinate with estimating and procurement to plan engineering work and costs in real time.
• Develop metrics, KRAs, KPIs, and training priorities for the team.
